As ourCorporate Partnership Manager, Rip City Remix, you will play a critical role in driving revenue generation and enhancing brand partnerships for our G League basketball team. In this role you will focus on activation, sales, team collaboration, and supporting parent NBA partnerships team initiatives.

DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Fulfill innovative activations to meet partner objectives and drive return on investment.
  • Coordinate with internal departments for seamless execution of partnership activations during game days and special events.
  • Collaborate with marketing, community relations, operations, and other internal teams to develop compelling content, leverage partnership assets, and deliver integrated campaigns for partners.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities with local, regional, and national corporate partners.
  • Prepare and present customized partnership proposals.
  • Negotiate partnership agreements and sponsorship packages to increase revenue potential.
  • Work closely with the ticket sales team to align partnership opportunities with overall revenue goals.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on partnership performance and revenue projections.
  • Liaise with the Trail Blazers’ partnerships department to align strategies and tap into connections between the G League team and the NBA franchise.
  • Assist in driving cross-promotional initiatives and joint marketing campaigns with NBA partners.
  • Serve as a point of contact for shared partners to ensure seamless coordination and execution of partnership activations.

WE’D LIKE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE:

  • Demonstrated experience in corporate partnerships, client relationship management, or related field.
  • Proven track record of generating revenue through successful partnership acquisition and activation.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with corporate partners.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate value propositions effectively.
  • Creative problem-solver with the ability to develop innovative partnership activation ideas.
  • Strong collaboration skills, valuing diverse perspectives, and effectively engaging with both internal colleagues and external stakeholders.

WE’D BE THRILLED IF YOU ALSO HAVE:

  • Experience in commercial partnership sales and activation in the sports and entertainment industry.
  • Comfort selling five-figure or multi-year deals in the professional sports, collegiate sports, or entertainment industry.
  • Knowledge of the local market and understanding of the sports sponsorship landscape.
  • A hunger for learning about our business and current partnership portfolio.
