Our Corporate Partnership/Community Activation Remixinternship is the opportunity you've been waiting for, so don't let the shot clock run out! Deadline to apply is May 15th by 6 p.m. PST.

As our Corporate Partnership/Community Activation Remix Intern, you will spend the 2024-2025G-League Season supporting our Corporate Partnership Manager by making intentional and impactful connections with the community and collaborating with clients on game activations. Your responsibilities will include engaging with partners, organizing special events, and scouting for new partnerships to enhance RipCity Remix.

Additionally, you will play an integral part in our G League by supporting and learning from the Partnerships, Ticketing, Marketing, and Operations departments that makeup RipCity Remix.

About the Internship:

  • Internship Duration: August 2024 to April 2025, with the potential for an extension.
  • Part-time commitment: Expect to work an average of 28 hours per week.
  • Location: Portland, Oregon; this is an on-site role, not remote.

As our Corporate Partnership/Community Activation Remix Intern, you will:

  • Assist with the implementation and execution of sponsorship agreements, ensuring all deliverables are met, such as signage, promotional events, and digital advertising.
  • Help organize and execute sponsored events, including pre-game and halftime shows, fan experiences, and meet-and-greets.
  • Work closely with the corporate partnerships team to develop and maintain relationships with sponsors, providing them with regular updates and proof of performance.
  • Assist in the development and execution of strategies to increase group ticket sales, targeting community organizations, schools, businesses, and local groups.
  • Participate in community events to promote the team and its ticket packages, enhancing the team's presence and engagement within the local community.
  • Help coordinate group events on game days, ensuring a smooth experience for attendees, from ticket collection to special presentations and seating arrangements.
  • Provide support in the planning and hosting of both corporate and community group events, ensuring high-quality execution that aligns with team standards.
  • Engage directly with fans and group leaders at events to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
  • Aid in the promotional efforts for upcoming games and special events through various channels, including social media, email campaigns, and in-person promotions.
  • Maintain accurate records and databases of sponsors and community contacts.
  • Assist in preparing sales reports and market analysis to track the effectiveness of group sales strategies and sponsorship activations.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for new sales promotions and sponsorship opportunities.

  • Possess the ability to lift 20-50 lbs.
  • Are available to work a flexible schedule, which could include office hours, Rip City Remix home games, and evening/weekend responsibilities.
