As our Environmental Services Coordinatorfor Rose Quarter facilities, you will assists the department with organizing and coordinating tasks related to the part-time staff, such as orientations, training, and quality control work. This position will play a vital role within engagement and stratification among the part-time staff.

DAY-TO-DAY:
- Coordinate, plan, and audit all training for part-time staff employees.
- Assist department managers with scheduling needs such as helping to intake and organizing availability changes as well as making schedule changes within ABI.
- Assist with the hiring of part-time staff such as completing interviews and training schedules.
- Train all part-time staff from new hire protocols, helping with Bridge trainings as well as completing sustainability and compliance training throughout the year.
- Participate in new hire orientations.
- Maintain the housekeeping inbox ensuring that requests are being responded to in a timely manner and directed to the right individuals.
- Complete facility walks to maintain quality control and educate staff on areas of opportunity and efficiency.
- Coordinate and disperse all company announcements to ensure all part-time staff receive them.
- Attend monthly safety meetings as the department’s representative and complete facility safety walks.
- Oversee the organization and maintenance of departmental policies, procedures, and SOPs, ensuring that they stay up to date, physical copies and digital copies are well organized and easily accessible.
- Primary backup to departmental managers and will assist with out-of-office coverage and support during peak season.
- Oversee the summer project tracker (July – September) by tracking timelines and communicating delays and anything else that might be pertinent for the projects.

- Have 1-2 years of relevant work experience
- Can fulfill attendance expectations, which include weekdays, occasional evening work, and a fluctuating work schedule based on event needs.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills.
- Excel in oral and written communication.
- Have basic computer skills, including proficiency in word processing, email, and Excel.
- Demonstrate good customer service, decision-making, and creative planning capabilities.
- Can work independently and efficiently, displaying reliability.
- Are capable of making sound business decisions impartially.
- Possess strong prioritization skills, an ability to multitask, and a keen attention to detail.
- Are responsive, available, and present, exemplifying reliability.
- Are self-motivated and constantly looking for ways to improve processes.
- Have prior experience with training and motivating teams (preferred but not mandatory).
