We are actively seeking a Unit Manager (RN). Rio Vista Post Acute provides a friendly and professional environment for all residents and staff. We provide in-house training along with skilled and long-term care education, giving our staff members at Rio Vista Post Acute the opportunity to advance and gain knowledge in different areas of nursing. Rio Vista Post Acute Unit Manager must be able and willing to:

• Communicate with Nurses and CNA's on the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the facility.
• Assists with weekend wound care
• manages the weekend admissions process.
• Meet with your assigned nursing staff, as well as support personnel, in planning the shifts’ services, programs and activities.
• Must exhibit integrity, honesty, positive attitude and be knowledgeable of residents rights.
• Promote excellent interpersonal skills with sensitivity to the needs of others. Ability to work well with people of all ages and to understand the needs of residents even during challenging situations.
• Ability to safely transfer, move and transport residents using proper body mechanics to prevent injury.
