Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and be responsible for managing the accounts payable/receivable process. This includes invoicing clients, tracking payments, and ensuring timely collections. This position will work closely with the finance team to maintain accurate financial records and provide support as needed.

Duties:
- Generate and send out invoices to clients
- Monitor customer accounts for delayed or missed payments
- Follow up on outstanding invoices and resolve any billing discrepancies
- Prepare and maintain various reports related to accounts receivable
- Conduct regular account reconciliations to ensure accuracy
- Assist with month-end closing activities, including journal entries and general ledger reconciliation
- Collaborate with other departments, to resolve payment/receivables issues
- Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and adhere to company policies

Skills:
- Proficiency in accounting software Quickbooks, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong knowledge of accounts receivable /payable principles and practices
- Familiarity with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience with payroll processing & Docuware is a plus
