Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate In-Home Care Provider to join our team in Broken Bow, Nebraska. The ideal candidate will have a passion for care and the willingness to make a significant difference in the lives of our clients. This role involves assisting clients with daily activities, providing emotional support, and promoting their overall well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal care activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, enhancing their quality of life.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
- Facilitate client engagement in physical activities and social interactions based on their capabilities and interests.
- Administer medication reminders and assist with mobility and transportation needs.
- Monitor and report changes in the client's health, behavior, and needs to the care team.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
- High school diploma or equivalent. Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred.
- Previous experience in caregiving or a similar role is highly desirable.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Compassionate and empathetic nature with a passion for caregiving.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position, including lifting and assisting clients.
