Job Type:Part-time with potential to increase to full-time

Salary Range: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Caregiver Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assisting with transferring/moving client from place to place throughout their home

• Bathing/Showering/Dressing/Shaving

• Performing housekeeping activities- vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, trash removal, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning the bathroom

• Preparing meals and snacks according to client preferences and dietary needs

• Providing transportation and accompanying client with errands or medical appointments

• Medication reminders

• Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises

• Dementia care

• Companionship activities such as reading, music, games, puzzles, etc.

Caregiver Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous experience working with the elderly is preferred

• WI State CNA certification a plus

• Valid driver's license with reliable insured vehicle (proof of auto insurance is required)

• Pass a drug test and background check

• Must be 18 years of age or older

• Must be able to lift/move 50 lbs without assistance

• High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.
