Right at Home West Los Angeles, CA is Hiring a Caregiver Near Ladera Heights, CA

Right at Home West LA is looking for the BEST caregivers for our clients. We are a licensed home care organization that offers support to vulnerable adults in the West LA and surrounding areas.

Our caregivers assist clients with light housekeeping, personal care, running errands, preparing meals, companionship, medication reminders, etc.

We have a female client in the Ladera Heights area that needs your skills, patience, dedication, and commitment TODAY! THIS IS AN IMMEDIATE OPENING!!!

This specific client needs a caregiver with :

  • extensive experience with Alzheimer's / Dementia (stage 6 Alzheimer's)
  • has strong attention to detail, displays patience and kindness, and is proactive
  • ability to work 8-12 hour shifts
  • able to work with a challenging family member who is particular with how things are done
  • CNA or HHA license is preferred, but Home Care Aide (HCA) license is required

REQUIREMENTS

  • Home Care Aide License (HCA / PER ID)- this is a 10 digit number issued by Dept of Social Services (see this page if you do not have it)
  • TB test (within past 90 days or within 7 days of hire; or within 2 years if worked with another agency)
  • CPR Certification (online certification is acceptable)
  • 2 years caregiving experience with proven skills working with Alzheimer's patients
  • 2 or more professional references
  • Reliable transportation; valid driver's license with ability to use / drive own vehicle is preferred (i.e. valid registration / car insurance)
  • Ability to use own mobile phone to clock in / out and utilize technology to take required online courses
  • CNA / HHA license is preferred, not required
  • Authorization to work in the US without sponsorship
