OVERVIEW

The Warehousing Expert role is responsible for the efficient and effective flow of product from the warehouse storage to the floor. This position is accountable for delivering on all aspects of warehouse standard operating procedures and achieving the standards for assembly/shipment processing, replenishment, and organization. This role reports into the Warehousing Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Rearrange and take inventory of stored materials

• Operate forklift and pallet jacks properly and safely

• Note and report discrepancies and obvious damages

• Organize and keep all warehouse spaces clean and orderly

• Store, stack or palletize materials in accordance with current storage methods

• Verify materials or products against receiving documents

• Maintain a high personal efficiency

• Lead the team with a sense of urgency

• Offer product knowledge and guidance to Warehousing Associates/Specialists

• Ensure all plans and directions provided by the Warehousing Manager are executed in a timely and organized manner

• Foster a positive working environment and a cooperative team dynamic

• Provide observation and note quality trends and performance concerns to the Warehousing Manager

• Complete assigned special tasks and projects as needed by the Warehousing Manager

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to read and write in English

• Proven experience working in a fast-paced environment with ability to manage multiple priorities

• Ability to lift and/or move up to 60 pounds items

• Ability to stand for long periods of time with ability to move nimbly in tight spaces
