Jr. Operations Manager (Military/ Veterans encouraged to apply)

As a Junior Operations Manager, you'll receive comprehensive training alongside the director to develop your skills and knowledge in operations management. We foster a fun and positive work environment, where teamwork and growth are celebrated.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless coordination between departments and efficient execution of tasks.

2. Lead facilities and landscape projects, overseeing their planning, implementation, and maintenance to uphold high standards.

3. Manage vendors by evaluating, negotiating contracts, and maintaining positive relationships to optimize service quality and cost-effectiveness.

4. Organize equipment inventory, ensuring availability, proper maintenance, and efficient use across operational needs.

5. Route fleets for winter services, construction projects, and landscaping operations, optimizing schedules for timely and effective service delivery.

6. Provide essential administrative support, including documentation, reporting, and coordination, to streamline office processes and enhance productivity.

7. Dispatch services, managing night and early morning shifts for winter service fleet operations, ensuring prompt response and efficient deployment.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in operations management is advantageous.

- Proven experience in operations or related roles, demonstrating strong organizational and leadership skills.

- Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written, with a knack for problem-solving and decision-making.

- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and collaborate harmoniously within a team.

- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and early mornings as necessary to meet operational demands.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
