Ridgeview Behavioral Health Services is Hiring a Residential Assistant Near Ridge, TN

RIDGEVIEW, a not-for-profit community mental health center based in Oak Ridge, TN, has an immediate opening for a Full Time Residential Assistant (40 hrs/wk, Sunday-Thursday, 2:45pm-11pm). Full training will be given to you to provide direct social service assistance to individuals experiencing severe and persistent mental illness. Do you have the passion to make a difference in the lives of adults with severe and persistent mental illness in their home setting? Are you someone who can engage with clients and create an atmosphere of trust and love? We want you!

For the right candidate, we offer either part-time or full-time benefits-eligible schedules. Shift differential is available for nights and weekends.

REQUIREMENTS
High school or GED. Experience in residential facilities, mental health, or behavioral health preferred. Valid Tennessee driver’s license and a safe driving record required.

JOB DUTIES
This position is primarily responsible for the supervision and safety of all residents in a 10 bed group home for individuals with severe and persistent mental illness. Residential assistants offer daily training to each resident on Activities of Daily Living such as cooking, cleaning and hygiene. RAs distribute medications and ensure that the home is maintained in the manner required by licensure.
