Rheumatologist

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a BC/BE Rheumatologist to assist in diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal disease and systemic autoimmune conditions or rheumatic diseases. Primary responsibilities include outpatient clinical care for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients who suffer from these musculoskeletal diseases. This physician must possess competence to enhance the function of patients affected body parts, heal and alleviate pain, which includes treatment of these diseases that can affect the joints, muscles, and bones causing pain, swelling, stiffness, and deformity.

We are a small close knit practice, who are family oriented and love serving our community. Our team consists of three MD's who have the support of two LPN's each, a nurse that works directly with you to help create a better streamline process for patient care. We also have an on site infusion center for our patients allowing you the chance to check in on your patients if needed. Also onsite there is access to X-Ray and Lab services. Our office provides one half day to allow our providers to catch up on administrative tasks. On a typical day one provider will see about 16-18 patients. Call is 1:3. Providers are on call only after hours/weekends. Average number of calls received is less than one. No RX refills. Mentorship is available.
