We are looking for a Field Supervisor for our Richards Building Services, LLC a division of Richards Building Supply, who is a driven, reliable, self-managed individual who possesses an excessive attention to detail. You will need to be able to work independently and exercise sound judgment. And your role will be to Manage and maintain the sub-divisions that are allocated to you.

• Attending client meetings and assist with determination of project requirements when needed
• Understanding construction layout, methods of sequence, and how to read plans and specifications.
• Ensuring your knowledge of the project and its requirements are effectively communicated with Client and all levels of the organization including Installed Sales Manager, Estimators, and Purchasing Agents.
• Work closely with Installed Sales Manager to confirm what location crews are assigned to depending on project status.
• Working closely with project managers to develop schedules, define subcontractor scope, and provide solutions to onsite issues.
• Keeping Installed Sales Manager informed about projects that will take longer to complete or other challenges.
• Communicating with estimators & warehouse managers for updates on deliveries and pickups.
• Managing materials needed along with scheduling pickups from job sites and keeping the delivery schedules up to date.
• Managing punch lists and the closeout processes.
• Tracking and reporting current status of project while maintaining daily job reports and photos of all activities and site conditions then uploading them to the Cloud.
• Producing other reports as required, such as a weekly activity and service reporting, monthly service, forecasting, vehicle mileage reporting, and quarterly installer bonus reporting.
• Maintaining of the company vehicle, including oil changes, all repairs, cleanliness of interior and exterior as well as record keeping of maintenance and mileage.

• Managing subcontractors and installation crews for assignment and workflow while managing quality and timeframe.
• Prioritizing and executing each project with professionalism and to the satisfaction of the client.
• Fully understanding subcontractor scope of work and manage/minimize subcontractor change orders.
• Developing, and maintaining relationships and partnering with the best subcontractors/installation crews, while driving the pace of the project.
• Maintaining safety of job site for customers, trades and team members through cleanliness and inspections, assisting with removal of excess material (and supporting trades when needed.
• Enhancing organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments that will lead to an increase in revenue.Managing subcontractors and installation crews for assignment and workflow while managing quality and timeframe.

• High School Diploma or equivalent education is required.
• 2-3 years of experience in the construction industry.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to various personality types.
• Ability to speak to all levels of an organization.
