Job Summary:
The Master Production Scheduler is responsible for developing the Master Production plan to satisfy customer demand while carrying minimum effective inventory
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Create a rolling 3 Master Production Plan for designated products. Utilize production capacity based on Sales FCST, historical sales & New Business opportunities. Analize and identify risks associated with availability of People, Materials & equipment
· Perform Supply & Demand Analysis identifying areas of concerns for the next 12 months
· Meet delivery commitments on MTO (Make to Order) products
· Met Inventory commitments on MTS (Make to Stock) products
· Monitor actual Output vs Master Schedule, work with the Production Team to identify the Root Causes & Counter-measures for the gaps as part of the Schedule Performance Metric
· Review Sales FCST with BU Managers on a monthly basis and suggest modifications of schedule if applies
· Timely report key KPI’s
· Support S&OP Process meetings to review service levels, performance against schedule, inventory strategy , supply plan to meet demand and resources (people) implications
· Maintain ERP transactions requirements
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
· Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel) Suite or related software.
· Experience using MRP
Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree Business Administration, or related field required.
· A minimum of 3 years of planning experience preferred.
· APICS certification as a plus
