Work Year: 200-Day Contract (full time).
Salary: $55,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year (commensurate with experience).

Mission and Description: The mission of an RFMA Classroom Educator is to create and foster a culture of high-expectations; socially conscious learning that aligns with CCSS and CAS. This is done by creating pacing guides and interims driven by unpacked, prioritized standards, crafting learning experiences that highlight cultural heritage, managing classroom behaviors so they facilitate learning instead of detracting from it, tracking and managing data associated with student performance (includes but not limited to: interim assessments, standardized test scores, daily grades, etc), managing relationships with families of students, actively participating in own development.
Responsibilities:
1. Creating/Implementing CCSS/CAS Aligned Curriculum
2. Embedding Elements of Cultural Learning into Lessons
3. Implementing Early Literacy research-proven protocols and lessons as guided by the Literacy Coach and Consultant.
4. Fostering Positive Classroom Culture
5. Tracking & Managing Student Data
6. Managing Family Relationships
7. Participating in Professional Development
8. Consistently Meeting Assigned Deadlines
