We are seeking a highly motivated candidate to work with our Finance Team. In this role, you will be responsible for monthly accounting, accounts payable, payroll administration, and other projects as assigned.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assist with general ledger closing and financial statement preparation.
• Primary accounts payable processing for the company. 
• Semi-monthly payroll processing to include salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
• Performing bank account and general ledger reconciliations.
• Assist with the annual audit and tax work papers.
• Prepare reports as necessary / Other projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and a minimum of 2 years of accounting and finance experience required.
• Proficiency in Excel is required.
• QuickBooks Online financial systems experience a strong plus.
• Experience utilizing Coupa P2P and system integrations is desirable.
• Experience processing payroll (using Paylocity or a similar platform) and benefits preferred.
• Experience in the life sciences industry is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, proactive and effective verbal/written communication and demonstrated ability to work and partner effectively with others, can-do attitude with strong initiative and sense of urgency; exceptional organizational/problem-solving skills and attention to detail, planning, organization, time management, and prioritization skills are required.
• A strong work ethic with a commitment to high standards of excellence while working in a fast-paced environment is required.
• The ability to keep sensitive information confidential is required.

Work Hours and Compensation

Consultant will be expected to work onsite at the Ribometrix office. Typical weekly hours will range from 20-25 per week. Compensation is $50/hour.
