Rhythmedix is Hiring a Service Technician Near Mount Laurel, NJ

SUMMARY

Work as part of a team having responsibility for assembling an entire product or component of a product. Performs manual labor along a production line. Operates and troubleshoots production. Perform minor repairs as necessary. Need to be able to read and understand blueprints, manuals, and work with computers.

JOB DUTIES

  • Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
  • Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.
  • Resolves assembly production issues. 
  • Complete preventive maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot malfunctions and perform repairs as needed.
  • Package finished products and prepare them for shipment.
  • Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
  • Rotate through all the tasks required in a particular production process.
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
  • Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Controls and Instrumentation, Equipment Maintenance, Manufacturing Experience, Manufacturing Quality, Mechanical Inspection Tools, Tooling, Safety Management, Quality Focus, Power Tools, Judgment, Decision Making.

Minimum: 

  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. 2 - 5 years’ experience assembling or repairing of electronics equipment.
  3. Familiarity with personal computers.
  4. Ability to read and comprehend procedures written in English. 

Preferred: 

  1. Good written and oral communication skills.
  2. Medical device manufacturing experience.
  3. Soldering experience strongly desired.
