General Purpose

Local Construction Company is seeking billing specialist with strong construction experience. Our Company has seen consistent revenue growth over the past several years, weathering the economic downturn better than many other construction-oriented companies. Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

· Generate AIA compliant invoices

· Follow up on, and collect payments

· Carry out billing, collection and reporting activities according to specific deadlines

· Perform account reconciliations

· Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities

· Research and resolve payment discrepancies

· Generate aging analysis

· Review AR aging to ensure compliance

· Maintain billing files and records

· Follow established procedures for processing receipts

· Prepare bank deposits

· Investigate and resolve customer queries

· Process adjustments

· Communicate with customers via phone, email, mail or personally

· Collect data and prepare monthly metrics

Requirements

Education and Experience

· Knowledge of AIA G702 and G703

· Knowledge of construction billing requirements

· Intermediate/advanced Excel skills

· experience with Avalara

· 3 years billing experience
