Our Mission: To prepare a diverse group of students to become the highly educated and professional nursing workforce of the future.The Data Analyst is a full-yer position that is responsible for overseeing the Rhode Island Nurses Institute Middle College Charter High School (RINI) comprehensive strategy for managing and using student data. The Data Analyst analyzes and interprets assessment data as it relates to individual student achievement and school improvement. The Data Analyst is responsible for maintaining accurate and confidential data files and will work to support data literacy training for teachers and administrators in the use of data to improve instruction. This position will also apply appropriate statistical measurements to data, review school and State data to develop comparison trends, and design and develop reports as requested. Leadership: Creates and continuously improves a comprehensive strategy for collecting, managing, and using data; Develops, maintains, and disseminates role-specific training for all staff members on utilization of data systems, tools and reports; Assists School Leaders and the Board of Directors in the establishment of numeric targets related to the RINI school-wide plan; Collaborates with School and Program Leaders to develop and implement data cycles that drive continuous improvement.MTTS and Attendance: Collaborates with School Leaders in the establishment and facilitation of data-informed Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) through a systemic, continuous improvement framework in which data-based problem solving and decision-making is practiced across all levels of the educational system for supporting students; Utilizes high quality evidence-based instruction, intervention, and assessment practices to ensure that every student receives the appropriate level of support to be successful; Facilitates a prevention-based framework of team-driven data-based problem solving for improving the outcomes of every student through family, school, and community partnering and a layered continuum of evidence-based practices applied at the classroom, school, district, and State level. Data Operations and Quality: Manages the RINI student information system and other databases by implementing clear protocols to ensure data quality and integrity; Oversees staff execution of data entry to ensure the accuracy of tracking information that reflects school and program operations, key performance metrics, and outcome data; Optimizes database systems and serves as the point of contact with 3rd party database vendors regarding development and technical support; Leads the design, development, and management of reports and dashboard solutions to ensure that the RINI staff at all levels of the organization have the information needed to make informed decisions.Data Reporting: Provides additional data reporting and analysis as needed for external accountability, compliance, or development tasks; Develops the data and evaluation support needed for strategic initiatives including expansion, replication and cross-school collaboration; Provides exam preparation and remedial classes to ensure students pass the exam and meet the RINI-specific outcome metrics for CNA licensure.The RI Nurses Institute Middle College Charter High School (RINI), located in Providence, Rhode Island was founded by the nursing profession in 2011 as a solution to increase diversity of underrepresented racial and ethnic groups in the nursing workforce.
