COLLEGE and CAREER READINESS TEACHER: To deliver a comprehensive and high-quality educational experience that supports students in the development of college and career readiness skills essential to becoming the future nursing workforce. To support, promote, and implement accessible instruction for all students to increase equitable outcomes while promoting the mission and vision of creating a highly educated and professional nursing workforce.Specific Requirements: State certification as an English Language Arts Teacher Grades 7-12, Social Studies Teacher Grades 7-12, or All Grades Health Teacher PK-12 preferred. Experience teaching college and career readiness skills, learning management strategies, communication and collaboration skills, and/or health topics preferred. Master’s degree preferred, required within 5 years. Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience. Experience in working in urban communities with multicultural families. Experience with PowerSchool, Naviance, or other student management systems (SMS).
