Duties:

  • Perform dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning
  • Administer local anesthesia and perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals
  • Collaborate with the dental team to ensure optimal patient care
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using Eaglesoft and accompanying software
  • Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
  • Stay updated on current dental practices and advancements through continuing education

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
  • Active, valid state dental license in good standing
  • Proficiency in CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software for creating dental restorations
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records, and medical coding systems
  • Excellent knowledge of oral anatomy and dental procedures
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and confidentiality
  • Commitment to delivering expectional patient care and bedside manner
  • Ability to work efectively as part of a collaborative team
