Rheumatic Disease Center is the largest single-specialty Rheumatology clinic in southeastern Wisconsin. We have passion and dedication for delivering high-quality, compassionate care to our patients. We are seeking an energetic, hard-working, reliable individual to work in our Infusion Department.
Under direct supervision of the Infusion Manager, the Infusion Nurse is responsible for: assessment of infusion eligibility, monitoring patient’s stability during infusion for possible adverse reactions and/or infusion reactions, starting IVs and/or accessing central venous lines, reconstituting medications, and medication administration via SQ injections and intravenous in compliance with the Infusion Department Standards of Care and other regulatory agency requirements. This candidate may seldomly have to travel to our other Milwaukee location. Must have ability to work on multiple tasks and patients with a high degree of speed and accuracy, pay attention to detail, and work cohesively with both teammates and physicians. Ideal candidate is one that is looking for something long-term and stable.
Current Wisconsin RN/PLN licensure required. Minimum 2 years of nursing experience preferred. Willing to train the right candidate.
