RHD - Resources for Human Development Philadelphia is Hiring a Job Developer Near Philadelphia, PA
The job developer is responsible for finding opportunities including employer outreach and orientation, job searching, job creation/carving, resume preparation, small business support and interview assistance. Other activities may include participation in individual planning for employment, development of job-seeking skills, development of job skills specific to a job being sought, job analysis, consulting with the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (OVR), benefits counseling agencies, or Ticket to Work employment networks on behalf of a participant, or self-employment assistance.

- Assist in the identification of opportunities for individuals seeking employment or starting a business.
- Actively sell and promote the participant for all applicable paying opportunities.
- Assist participants in individual planning for employment.
- Assist participants in identifying realistic work objectives.
- Structure efforts to find paying opportunities for the individual and match strengths to job needs.
- Maintain effective communication with all parties involved with the participant’s care team.
- Plan transportation and travel training.
- Prepare case records and reports.
- Maintain active leads database for all paying opportunities.
- Assist Resume and employment documentation creation and preparation.
- Support all interview preparation activities.
- Interface with the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (OVR), benefits counseling agencies, or Ticket to Work employment networks on behalf of a participant.
- Create and maintain both community partnerships and employer development.
