We are seeking an aspiring Technician to fill a Summer Mechanician Technician Intern position. Our ideal applicant will have completed one year in a 2-year technical program. 

As a Technician Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on projects such as:

• Automation controls boxes
• Robotic palletizers 
• Programming mobile autonomous robots 
• Hydraulic or pneumatic power units (i.e. installing hoses, manifolds, valves, engines, gas tanks, and reservoirs)
• Assist in factory (FAT) acceptance tests

Technician Intern Duties and Responsibilities also include:

• Learning the responsibilities of a technician
• Incorporating academic knowledge into hands-on work
• Work with experienced technicians to build projects
• Assemble wide variety of products to exceed customers’ expectations of quality
• Test systems
• Supporting startups and field commissions as necessary

Technician Intern Requirements and Qualifications:

• Able to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds occasionally
• Current enrollment in an electrical or mechanical technology program
• Willingness to learn new skills
• Strong mechanical aptitude
