Who we Seek
The Controller will work in concert with the CFO and AVP of Finance and be responsible for the accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls of RFK Community Alliance. The Controller must be able to timely produce, prepare and interpret the financial information of the organization. You will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and a keen eye for detail. The Controller plays a vital role in ensuring the organization's financial health and supporting informed decision-making by senior leadership. In addition, the Controller will be involved in other aspects of the financial oversight, partnering with other departments to achieve RFK Community Alliance's strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
Who You Are
You will hold a BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with 5 to 10 years of experience in financial accounting, financial reporting, managerial accounting, and/or controllership. You are proficient in Excel with a deep understanding of the accounting and reporting requirements under Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) as they apply to not-for-profit organizations. CPA or CMA certification, public accounting, and Dynamics Business Central are preferred.
Shift:
Mon-Fri, day shift, 40 hours per week

This position is eligible for the RFK Community Alliance Sign-On Incentive in the amount of $2,500 in your first year of employment. You will receive $500 after 3 months; $500 after 6 months; $1,500 after 12 months.
