RFA Engineering (www.rfamec.com) is an engineering service provider dedicated to delivering our clients with timely engineering support and expertise. We are seeking an Entry-Level to Experienced candidate to become an integral part of our engineering team. The selected candidate will work with an experienced engineering staff using state-of-the-art engineering tools & processes. This position will operate onsite at our customer's world-class engineering and manufacturing facility.

Product Safety and Compliance Engineer 

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Safety and Compliance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet all relevant safety regulations and standards. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate safety requirements into the product development process and mitigate safety risks.

Responsibilities:

• Research, interpret, and apply relevant safety regulations and standards for product compliance.
• Collaborate with product development teams to integrate safety requirements into the design process.
• Conduct risk assessments and safety analyses for products.
• Develop and implement safety testing plans and procedures.
• Coordinate and oversee safety testing with external laboratories.
• Analyze safety test results and recommend design changes to improve product safety.
• Maintain documentation of safety compliance efforts and test results.
• Stay informed about changes in safety regulations and standards that may impact product safety.
• Provide guidance and training to internal teams on safety requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 5 years of engineering or product development experience
• Experience with Product Safety and Compliance 
• Strong knowledge of relevant safety regulations and standards (e.g., OSHA, ANSI, ISO, etc.).
• Experience with safety testing and certification processes.
• Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
