This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive program, subject to the rule governing the program. 

Position Summary:

The Account Executive I – Food Service on Premise (FSOP) plays an integral role in the team’s success in achieving key performance indicators. This position identifies and secures new business as well as retains existing business. In order to secure new accounts and retain accounts that are currently competitive, the Account Executive I - FSOP gains an understanding of potential customer’s needs, leverages the company’s portfolio and value bundles as well as builds compelling presentations that demonstrate value to potential customers. 

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to: 

  • Identify new and competitive customer target list, secure, and achieve new outlet goals
  • Build a mutually beneficial partnerships with customers to grow both businesses
  • Demonstrate strong intuition to understand customer objectives
  • Pivot across multiple evolving priorities, while upholding administrative duties, trade time with key internal and external stakeholders, and conducting collaborative customer meetings
  • Manage time and resources effectively and efficiently in a highly dynamic work environment 
  • Connect with cross functional partners to ensure superior execution of retail strategies
  • Influence people, processes, and resources to meet the company’s strategic priorities and improve capabilities 
  • Other projects or duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree with 4 plus years of sales experience or HS Diploma/GED with 7 plus years of sales experience
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, influencing, conflict and change management, and follow up skills 
  • Business development experience
  • Ability to manage needs and concerns of multiple stakeholders across various business systems
  • Forecasting sales experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications, i.e., Excel and PowerPoint 
  • Travel up to 35%
  • This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test

Preferred Skills and Experience: 

  • Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) experience 
  • Ability to create and sell-in customer specific promotional programs and key initiatives 
  • Knowledge of bottling and fountain environment/system
