Position Summary:

The VP of Spirits is essential to RBG's Spirits portfolio success through leading RBG's overall spirits strategy. Will partner with key suppliers to build and execute annual and long-term business plans to drive mutual and sustainable growth. Will work closely with the Market Presidents and sales leads across the organization and the Spirits footprint to lay clear and aligned sales goals and targets to deliver best in class execution. Will lead a team of Market Managers and Spirits Specialists to drive industry leading market execution excellence in collaboration with key suppliers.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

• Ensure the attainment of business goals through the regular evaluation of business partner relationships, new business opportunities, and market investments.
• Lead statewide annual, quarterly, and monthly business planning activities with key suppliers.
• Lead strategic initiatives to gain new supplier partners across the network.
• Collaborate with key internal functional leaders to build capabilities to effectively execute and steward growth on the spirits portfolio.
• Implement new reporting tools to track Sales Execution, Inventory Management, SKU rationalization, Financial Metrics, etc.
• Manage the budget and P&L expectations.
• Work in conjunction with the RBG pricing team to maintain a clear targeted price strategy.
• Drive new processes to track executional metrics which align with our supplier partners.
• Effectively manage Spirits team and conduct regular performance reviews and identify opportunities for team development, training, and performance improvement.
• Work closely with the RBG Corporate team on Compliance to ensure sound policies and procedures are adhered to across all markets and commodities.
• Handle all goal setting and tracking.
• Oversee inventory management, DOH, Aged Inventory, etc.
• Implement new processes and procedures to help integrate RBG into the sprits category.
• Lead and steward routines to ensure visibility and achievement of business plans.
• Perform other job-related projects and duties as assigned.
