Job Requirements Responsibilities: Alkegen Values - the incumbent is expected to perform the duties whilst ‘Living’ the Alkegen Values. Drive Execution Of Global Market Strategy: Partner with Global Growth Leader to develop and continuously update our growth strategy for the power market globally – including market mapping, competitive analysis, how we win, regional go-to-market approaches, application playbooks, etc. Identify, and advocate for, resources and new investments needed to accelerate short-term and long-term profitable growth Directly lead the daily execution of the growth strategy through sales team and provide feedback from the front-line on opportunities for improvement Establish Power Market Sales Expertise: Serve as an internal sales expert on refractory materials in the power industry, including understanding market dynamics, customer challenges / needs, our respective portfolio of products and applications, and key areas for development. Communicate key growth opportunities to management team and provide recommendations on actions to aggressively pursue. Act as the voice of the customer within Alkegen and closely collaborate with R&D, Operations, Application Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Service to ensure appropriate levels of service and quality are provided to customer base. Manage Global Power Market Sales Team: Provide direction and coaching to assigned sales team to drive growth initiatives across the power market, with a focus on value proposition selling. Including, but not limited to, ride-along coaching, best practice sharing, and negotiation guidance. Help develop and drive individual action plans and target customer account plans Identify regional successes and replicate with rest of team globally Manage assigned team’s day-to-day tasks to prioritize, progress, and close opportunities Track pipeline of customer opportunities and key milestones Manage team’s routine sales activities including business planning, forecasting, reporting, issue resolution, account assignments, etc. Directly Call On Large Accounts and High-Potential New Customers: Actively identify and engage potential customers, with a focus on identifying challenges, value proposition selling, and winning trials/qualifications with new products Effectively navigate multiple channels to market, including end users, installation contractors, and specifiers. Qualifications/ Experience: 10-15 years of experience in Industrial Sales and Marketing preferably serving end markets with technical insulation/specialty fiber products Knowledgeable of all Thermal Management products and applications Demonstrated proficiency in managing a sales group, growing revenue and managing a portfolio of technical products Bachelor’s degree required, Engineering preferred, MBA preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Financial Statement Analysis, and Salesforce CRM. 50% overnight global travel Other Duties: Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
