Overview:

This role is responsible for the development of a new product offering that leverages the proven success of the Signals Research Platform. This offering will be centered around scientific experimentation workflow facilitation and sample logistics with pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical development as well as manufacturing.

Main Functions:

Working as the Development Lead in a team environment you will work with Product Management and UX to help define and build a new product offering that is part of our Signals Research Portfolio. You will technically lead a team of developers, working closely with other development leaders to architect a solution that fits within our Signals Platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Help Architect Solutions working closely with peers and management ensuring solutions fit into our strategic vision

  • Lead a team of Developers, following our Agile Development processes

  • Work closely with UX and Product Management to define the product features

  • Participate in all team activities such as hiring, planning, requirements definition, design discussions, code reviews, and software development

  • Work effectively with other team members to provide a quality product for our customers

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience Leading Development Teams, as both Architect and Development Manager

Preferred Experience:

  • BS/MS Computer Science; or, equivalent

  • Experience with LIMS Systems, a plus

  • Experience with Workflow Management Systems, a plus

  • Experience with AWS, Cloud Native Architectures, and modernSingle Page Applications.

  • Expert in Java andRESTfulJSON API's

  • Experience in Javascript, React, HTML, and CSS

  • Expert building large scale, high-available Applications, is desired

  • Experience as a Full Stack Developer, a plus

  • Experience with Open Source Technologies

  • Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills required

  • Must be able to communicate effectively with other team members

  • Creative problem-solving skills
