Job Description: Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) - Agency Staff

Position Overview:We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on a per diem basis through our agency partnership. As a per diem RN, you will have the opportunity to work in various healthcare settings, providing exceptional care to patients across different units and specialties. This position offers flexibility in scheduling, allowing you to balance work with other commitments.

Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate and high-quality nursing care to patients according to established protocols and standards of practice.
• Perform assessments, administer medications, and implement treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient progress, vital signs, and symptoms, reporting any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
• Educate patients and their families on disease processes, medications, and self-care techniques.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Follow infection control, safety, and quality assurance guidelines.
• Adapt quickly to different healthcare settings, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state of practice.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
