Position Summary:

Revolution Space is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineering Manager to lead the design and development of our next generation in-space propulsion high voltage power and control avionics. Responsibilities include managing technical team with full technical, cost, & budget responsibility. Products include digital command & data handling unit, flight software, high voltage power units, harnessing, and electrical ground support equipment (EGSE).

he position is full-time with location options in: Greenbelt, MD area, or DC Metro Area or Boston, MA, and is available to be filled immediately.

Responsibilities: 

·Provide technical evaluation and oversight of high voltage power and control avionics

·Oversee the development, decomposition, and implementation of requirements

·Provide technical, cost, and schedule development and direction

·Accountable for performance of the technical requirements, cost, and schedule

·Risk Management and Issue resolution

·Perform root cause analysis and implement troubleshooting best practices

·Contract and Subcontractor Management

Required Qualifications:

·Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related filed.

·10 years of relevant work and flight experience with aerospace, military, or space electronics

·5 years of Product Management Experience (Technical, Cost, & Schedule)

·Experience leading technical teams

·Experience with Environmental Testing per GEVS GSFC-STD-7000 or SMC-S-016

·Eligibility and ability to obtain a government security clearance

Preferred Qualifications: 

·Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

·15 years of relevant work experience aerospace, military, or space electronics

·Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or similar

·Supplier management and procurement experience

·Analog & digital design experience and FPGA design experience

·Current Secret or TS/SCI clearance
