Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Property Manager to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, focusing on the back-office operations and computer systems that keep our properties running smoothly. You will provide strong oversight of our property management assistants, ensuring efficient tenant communication and record keeping. In this complementary role, our existing Property Manager spends the majority of their time on-site, handling tasks such as move-in coordination, inspections, rent collection, and other essential on-site duties.

Duties:

• Collaborate with co-Property Manager to oversee all aspects of the property management company.
• Provide strong oversight of [PKIs – loss to leases, Dequincy, vacancy…] and develop strategies to improve performance in this area.
• Supervise two virtual property management assistants, providing guidance and ensuring they complete tasks to a high standard (e.g., screening tenants, processing rent payments, reaching out to tenants about past balances).
• Help ensure that all leasing, delinquency, and work order functions are running smoothly and updated within our property management softwires (e.g., Buildium, Google workspace).
• Help to document regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards.
• Handle tenant inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional and timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records of property-related transactions, including leases, rent payments, and maintenance requests.
• Stay up-to-date with local housing regulations and ensure compliance with all applicable laws.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in property management or real estate administration (5 years)
• Strong knowledge of property leasing procedures and contract negotiation
• Familiarity with Section 8 housing programs (preferred)
• Proficiency in using property management software (e.g., Buildium)
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
