This is a Hybrid position with 2 days a week at our Headquarters. We are moving our Headquarters to the Polaris area in Westerville, OH from our current location in Granville, OH in early summer.
The Training and Development Specialist II is a part of the Talent Development team delivering virtual and classroom facilitation using effective learning techniques.
Responsibilities :
Facilitating training programs (daily, weekly) to develop participants skill sets.Communication with Talent Development team, course participants and leaders.
Working closely with training development team to update, maintain and enhance training materials.Create program roster management, course scheduling, and support.
Assist with assigning LMS courses, assessments, and surveys.Help manage the LMS as needed.Knowledge of adult learning theory, how adults learn and how to maximize and drive training outcomes.
Understanding of instructional design techniques.Able to identify needs and career goals to advise potential training and career paths.
Other duties as assigned.Some travel may be required.Additional Skills :
Instructional Design - knowledge of ADDIE, needs assessments, development tools (outlines, storyboards, etc.), development of learning and behavioral outcome statements, e-learning tools.
Learning Theory communication theories and their relation to training, skilled at applying learning principles to maximize learning / behavioral outcomes.
Career Development knowledge of how to develop and implement quality programs, ability to identify needs and career goals, skilled at development planning.
Consulting Builds trust with stakeholders, defines training vs performance needs, formulates training or performance plans for identified gaps.The Ideal Candidate :

This individual with be adaptable, self-sufficient, detail oriented. They will have excellent communication skills, a commitment to detail, follow-up skills and reliability.
