Data Engineer
We are currently seeking an experienced data engineer with 3 - 5 years with hands-on data engineering experience. This candidate must possess technical, business analysis, and communication skills. This position offers an opportunity to work directly with clients to design strategic data solutions that help them visualize complex data in a focused manner. This includes architecting, building, & maintaining data lakes, data warehouses, & data pipelines. This individual will work closely with customers to gather requirements, prototype designs, and develop the final deliverable. Familiarity with the Tableau architecture and best practices is a plus.
Position Requirements:
* 3 - 5 years experience with implementing client-facing large-scale data warehouse solutions
* Extensive experience with programming data pipelines: Python & REST APIs required
* Strong experience with AWS, GCP, & Azure technology stacks
* Experience implementing data solutions using Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, Redshift, & Azure Synapse
* Experience building data pipelines with Matillion & Fivetran is a plus.
* Experience assisting clients with migrating from legacy to modern data platforms
* Expertise with Tableau dashboard and data visualization design is a plus
* Industry experience in Retail, Finance, Supply Chain, Healthcare, and/or Manufacturing
