This role requires a deep understanding of data lineage creation and the ability to translate complex business challenges into technical solutions.Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines, ensuring data integrity and reliability.Utilize Snowflake, dbt, and Fivetran for data transformation and movement.Create data lineages and models to support business intelligence and data warehousing.Translate complex business issues into technical tasks for team members.Implement best practices in data modeling and ETL processes.Collaborate with cross-functional teams for high-quality data solutions.Define technical deliverables, conduct risk analysis, and estimate efforts for projects.Review work delivered by other technical team members. QualificationsProven experience in data engineering with Snowflake, dbt, and Fivetran.Strong background in data modeling and pipeline construction.Effective communication of technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Project management and team leadership experience.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.Additional Skills:Reviewing PRs and providing constructive feedback.Familiarity with product development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.Excellent time management and prioritization skills.Advanced skills in analytics engineering and model design.Comprehensive understanding of various data architecture approaches.Ability to communicate technical issues and value to non-technical stakeholders. Additional InformationThe Linux Foundation is an Equal Opportunity Employer.All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
