Retina Northwest PC is Hiring a Patient Services Specialist Near Vancouver, WA

The position of Patient Services Specialist is Full-time and benefited, working Monday-Friday, providing a variety of support in Central Scheduling, Medical Reception, Operator/Switchboard, EMR Medical Records, and special projects within patient services at our Admin office and floating to satellite clinics in Vancouver WA and the greater Portland area for patient services coverage. Access to reliable transportation to support satellite clinics in WA and OR required.

Patient Services Specialist Description

Patient Services Specialist floats to a variety of Retina Northwest locations, including the Vancouver ADMIN office, WA clinic locations, and OR clinic locations. The Patient Services Specialist is responsible for greeting and checking in patients, answering phones, obtaining and updating insurance and demographic information, medical records scanning and coordination, uploading patient information into EMR, switchboard, scheduling tasks, and a variety of special projects. The Patient Services Specialist is key provides staffing support when needed at any Retina Northwest locations in Vancouver WA and the 4 clinic locations in the greater Portland, OR community. The Patient Services Specialist communicates with staff and Physicians, and functions phones, manages office inventory supplies, and coordinates various clerical duties with each clinic or Admin team.

Additionally, the Patient Services Specialist position is successful in providing & receiving verbal and written instructions, maintains courteous & professional working relationships with physicians, staff, & patients, and is a great team member.
