Retina Consultants Of Carolina PA is Hiring a Finance Manager Near Greenville, SC

The Finance Manager is responsible for safeguarding the practice's financial assets, overseeing internal controls of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), and ensuring efficient, friendly customer interactions with the billing and clerical departments. This role includes the timely processing of claims as well as effective management of accounts payable and accounts receivable. The position also directs the clerical department to ensure accurate scheduling, data entry, and informed responses to patient inquiries.

The Finance Manager's primary duties and responsibilities include:

  • Managing the processes related to accounts payable, up to the check-signing stage.
  • Reconciling all banking and credit card transactions and categorize appropriately in Quickbooks Online.
  • Coordinating and preparing financial reports on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Tracking and paying monthly sales tax and business license renewals.
  • Overseeing all billing operations of the Practice inclusive of front desk operations.
  • Managing vendor relationships
  • Assisting the Operations Managers as needed with facilities management, physician credentialing, and other projects as needed.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Five years' experience in financial operations with increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Professional managerial experience is required, preferably within the financial aspects of the health care industry.
  • Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and Electronic Practice Management (EPM) systems.
  • Experience in negotiating general business contracts.
