Retina Consultants of Austin is Hiring a Front Desk Medical Receptionist Near Round Rock, TX

Retina Consultants of Austin is seeking a receptionist for our Central Austin location. We are a retina-only ophthalmology practice with three physicians and six locations. This position is a full-time position at our Central office. We work with AthenaPractice Centricity practice management system and MDIntellesys IntelleChart Pro EHR.

  • Responsibilities
  • Greet Patients and create a welcoming environment
  • Answer phones and assist patients with scheduling appointments
  • Check-Out Patients who are in office and re-schedule future appointments
  • Collect, record, and electronically post in office patient payments
  • Perform electronic Scanning and Uploading of various office forms/documents
  • Maintain office supplies
  • Coordinate patient care while patients are in office ensuring they are being attended to in the most time-efficient way possible with a caring and positive demeanor
