Restore and Build Construction Inc is Hiring a Restoration Estimator Near Sunland, CA
We are seeking a Restoration Estimator to join our team! You will oversee project walk throughs and estimating.
Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections for repairs/ mitigation estimating as needed
- Consulting with customers, adjusters and affiliates as needed
- Creating scopes of work, estimates, photo sheets and necessary paperwork for mitigation/repair jobs
- Writing initial estimates, revisions, and supplements as needed and updating status in appropriate portals and files
- Following up with status of approvals up until billing
- Communicating with adjusters/customers as needed during the course of review/approval
- Reviewing estimates at the completion of project to ensure accuracy
- Communicating with all necessary parties both internal and external in order to streamline assignments/jobs
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in construction management or other related fields
- Previous experience in property insurance preferred
- Experience with estimating in Xactimate and Symbility
- Strong leadership qualities
- Strong negotiation skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
