Position:Funeral Director / Embalmer
Company: Rest Haven Funeral Home & Crematory at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens, Hagerstown, MDWage: $60,000-$80,000 (Depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

As aFuneral Director/Embalmerat Rest Haven Funeral Home & Crematory, you will be responsible for providing compassionate support, guidance, and direction to grieving families during their difficult times. Your duties will include:

1. Arranging Funerals:Collaborate with families to plan and organize funeral services, ensuring their wishes are met.
2. Embalming and Preparation:Skillfully embalm and prepare deceased individuals for viewing and burial.
3. Conducting Services:Lead funeral ceremonies, memorial services, and graveside committals with empathy and professionalism.
4. Documentation:Complete necessary paperwork, including death certificates, permits, and other legal documents.
5. Customer Service:Provide exceptional service to families, answering questions, addressing concerns, and offering support.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer:You must hold a valid funeral director and embalmer license in the state of Maryland.
• Compassionate:Show empathy and understanding to grieving families.
• Organized:Handle multiple tasks efficiently and maintain accurate records.
• Professional:Represent the funeral home with dignity and respect.
