We have an immediate need for an SSHO, Local to Panama City, with 4-6 years of experience as an SSHO on capital projects for a year long Government project in Panama City, FL.
Compensation $42 an hour 40 hours a week, some overtime.

Responsibilities

Implement safety standards or procedures at multiple facilities
*
Actively monitor work areas for compliance with safety policies throughout the site and document activities as needed for daily/weekly reports.
*
Manage site visits from OSHA
*
Possess good verbal and written communication skills (bilingual a plus)
*
Have good presentation skills to train on site personnel, conduct orientations and toolbox talks
*
Ability to investigate recordables via root cause analysis
*
Extensive documentation, organizational and technical writing skills
*
Ensure compliance with company, OSHA, and other applicable standards at all company sites by working with site management and conducting safety audits as required.
*
Extensive computer skills
Requirements:

Must have certification for EM-385 and a OSHA 30 or 510
*
Must have previous experience on government capital projects.
*
Must be highly proficient with safety-based computer software systems, excel and power point
