Purchasing Clerk – City of Vernon
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 6:45am – 3:45pm
Pay Rates – $19/ hour
Purchasing Clerk Job Responsibilities:
- Create all assigned purchase orders.
- Measure On Time Delivery – address negative trends with OTD.
- Track all orders from shipment to the supplier until return and monitor progress of critical or longer lead time orders.
- Expedite orders with direction from management.
- Be the purchasing point of contact for all issues with Outside Processing suppliers

Requirements:
- 2 years minimum Purchasing Clerk experience
- Previous Customer Service experience a plus

- Able to multi-task
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills
