  • 1st Shift 6:30a ~ 3:00p
  • 2nd Shift 2:30p ~ 11:00p
  • 3rd Shift 10:30p ~ 7:00a

Position Summary:

This individual will perform highly technical duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety and process standards within a tier one automotive supplier machining manufacturing facility.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Commitment to company's objectives regarding safety, quality, cost, delivery and management as communicated in the handbook, shift meetings, postings
  • Comply with safety regulations
  • Perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment
  • Read and interpret wire schematics, blue prints, equipment manuals and work orders to perform required planned maintenance and service
  • CNC machine monitoring, troubleshooting and repair. (Mitsubishi and Fanuc preferred)
  • PLC skills to diagnose machine problems
  • Computer skills
  • Replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and facilities
  • Use a variety of tools, multi meters and material in maintaining the equipment
  • Attend shift meetings and others applicable to the position
  • 5S (Sort, Set-in-Order, Shine, Standardize and Sustain) your work space and 5S duties as assigned
  • Perform other tasks as assigned

  • Ability to read and interpret hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical drawings.

  • Written communication-the individual edits work for accuracy, presents numerical data effectively and is able to read and interpret written information

  • Quality-the individual demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors own work to ensure quality
  • Adaptability-the individual adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events
  • Dependability- the individual is consistently at work and on time
  • Thorough knowledge of machine line equipment
  • Attention to detail

Education and work experience:

  • Four (4) years experience in a machining manufacturing environment
  • Strong machining, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical skills - PLC and CNC skills
  • Vision System experience is a plus
  • Electrical experience
  • PLC knowledge
  • Basic math skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $33.00 per hour
