Remedy is Hiring for An Steel Welder right here in Jacksonville, FL located on the Southside.

Shift: 5:00PM-1:30AM Monday-Friday Paying $17-$21/Hr. Depending on experience

Products Fitter/MIG Welder Job Responsibilities and Requirements

• Safety conscious and familiar with standard safety rules and policies
• Good communication and team working skills.
• Coachable and trainable
• Must be able to meet and/or exceed production goals.
• MIG welding of Mild Steel & Aluminum (Certifications a plus)
• Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings.
• Ability to arrange and fit prepared components into fabricated products.
• Knowledge of grinding and sanding of welded areas to various degrees of finishing
• Other duties as assigned. May operate equipment such as band saw, tube bender, or other shop equipment.
• Experience with other shop equipment would be a plus.
• Forklift Operator (a plus)
• Must pass welding test prior to employment.
• Must provide own tools (welding helmet, tape measure, framing square, welding pliers)
• Safety toe boots required. Other required PPE is provided
