We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Network Operations Center (NOC) Manager to lead our NOC team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in network operations, team management, and technical expertise to ensure the seamless functioning of our network infrastructure. The NOC Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, managing incidents, implementing best practices, and driving continuous improvement within the NOC.Responsibilities:
  1. NOC Operations Management:
    • Lead and manage the daily operations of the Network Operations Center.
    • Ensure 24/7 availability of the NOC and timely response to incidents.
    • Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate resolutions.
  2. Team Leadership:
    • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing NOC team.
    • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  3. Incident Management:
    • Oversee the identification, analysis, and resolution of network incidents.
    • Implement and enhance incident response procedures.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues promptly.
  4. Performance Monitoring:
    • Implement and maintain network monitoring tools.
    • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure adherence to service-level agreements (SLAs).
    • Proactively identify and address potential performance bottlenecks.
  5. Documentation and Reporting:
    • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations and procedures.
    • Generate regular reports on network performance, incidents, and resolutions.
    • Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  6. Security and Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with security policies and industry regulations.
    • Implement security measures to protect network infrastructure.
    • Stay current with industry trends and best practices related to network security.
  7. Collaboration and Communication:
    • Collaborate with IT teams, engineers, and other stakeholders to implement network upgrades and changes.
    • Communicate effectively with leadership and stakeholders on network performance and incident status.
    • Participate in cross-functional meetings to align NOC activities with organizational goals.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Information Technology, etc.).
  • Proven experience (5 years) in a NOC management role.
  • Strong technical background in network operations, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., AutoMate, SolarWinds, Nagios).
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in network management and security.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, ITIL) are a plus.
