Resource-Trac is Hiring an Utility Operator Near Kearny, NJ

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Utility Operator to join our team. As a Utility Operator, you will be responsible for maintaining and operating various utility systems and equipment. This is a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain utility systems, including electrical, HVAC/R, and low voltage systems
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on utility equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair utility system malfunctions
- Monitor utility system performance and make adjustments as necessary
- Analyze utility system data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of the facility
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders

Experience:
- Previous experience as a Utility Operator or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage systems
- Familiarity with industrial electrician practices and procedures
- Proficiency in analyzing utility system data and making informed decisions based on findings
- Experience with HVAC/R systems is preferred
- Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
