Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Data Center Technician to join our team. As a Data Center Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting computer hardware, networking equipment, and electrical systems within our data center facility. Your expertise in Cisco routers, computer networking, fiber splicing, and computer hardware will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our data center.

Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and networking equipment
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on servers, switches, routers, and other data center equipment
- Troubleshoot hardware and network issues to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
- Monitor system performance and ensure optimal operation of all data center equipment
- Perform fiber splicing and cable management to ensure efficient connectivity
- Collaborate with other technicians to complete projects and tasks as assigned
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Provide technical support to internal teams as needed

Experience:
- Previous experience as a Data Center Technician or similar role preferred
- Strong knowledge of Cisco routers, computer networking, fiber splicing, and computer hardware
- Familiarity with service technician responsibilities and best practices
- Proficient in cabling techniques and able to use hand tools effectively
- Understanding of Ethernet protocols and electrical systems within a data center environment
- Experience with Avaya systems is a plus
