RMC is hiring a Senior Network Administrator to support a Hybrid Cloud environment in Dahlgren, VA.
Required Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience in network design and implementation, in large multi-platform environments.
- Five (5) years’ experience in deploying various network configurations, devices, software and services that provide maximum and efficient performance local (LANs) and wide area network (WANs).
- Five (5) years’ experience collaborating with multiple teams to evaluate and update configurations, hardware, software and other deployments to assure environments are optimal and consistent with short- and long-term strategy.
- Five (5) years’ experience in creating and maintaining documentation of the network.
- Three (3) years’ experience in providing assurance to the confidentiality, integrity and availability of networks.
- Three (3) years’ experience in troubleshooting and supporting computer solutions, associated software and hardware, network, server, and PC, as relating to network infrastructure.
- Two (2) years’ experience in performing hardware repairs for equipment and peripherals that are not covered by third-party vendor maintenance agreements.
- Knowledge and comprehension of secure build techniques, tools and practices of DISA Secure Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIG).
- Extensive knowledge and experience in network configuration and network security. Including configuration and management of network switches, firewalls, VPN, DNS, and routers. Prefer knowledge and experience with Juniper and Cisco.
- Knowledge of multiple IT environments including server and cloud-based platforms.
Required Education/Professional Certifications:
- CompTIA Sec or GSEC or SSCP or CCNA/Security (Per DoD Directive 8570.01-M or successor, this position requires IAT Level II or higher certification)
- Azure Network Engineer Associate
- Juniper Network Expert (JNCIE-ENT) or Cisco Expert (CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure) Certification
