Resource 1 is seeking a Sr. Project Manager with at least 10 years of experience for a hybrid remote position in the Chicago area. This is a long-term need with multiple projects planned. Individuals should have experience managing various large projects within Information Technology, including application development, implementations, data migration, vendor management, etc. Individual will be responsible for budgets, requirements change control, project planning, status reporting, issue resolution, etc. Individual must be well-versed in coordinating across external vendors, internal IT team members, and business stakeholders. Individual should be proficient in tools like MS Project and Rally for project planning/ tracking. Individual must be able to manage the financials for projects to ensure they get completed within budget. Individual will manage multiple projects within the existing program, ranging from $500K to $1 million. Ideal candidate would have experience working for large enterprises with established PMO’s. Individuals will be responsible for status reporting and facilitating discussions with technical and non-technical team members. Individual should possess technical insight and the ability to understand architecture terms and translate them into project plans. Prior experience working with Agile methodology is preferred. PMP certification is a plus.
